Raintown at The Fringe
Glasgow's Raintown duo head east to Edinburgh for an acoustic performance at The Fringe on Sunday, August 21st at The Famous Grouse House, on George Street, Stage time for Paul & Claire is 4.30pm.
Duke Boys head for Nashville
The popular band The Duke Boys, who performed with many touring American acts back in the 80's, are organising a US tour next year to mark their 35th Anniversary.

Brandy Clark headine our way
Nashville singer songwriter Brandy Clark, who has two great albums herself, as well as songs recorded by the likes of Reba McEntire, Darius Rucker, Sheryl Crow and Miranda Lambert, is heading to the UK next month on tour. Inckluded is a Glasgow date @ Oran Mor on Wednesday 21st September. Tickets on sale now.

Jackie's Dream comes true
Jackie Storrar's dream is about to come true.
The Fife based singer and broadcaster has been battling cancer for the last couple of years, and earlier this year, she announced that her biggest dream was to record an album of songs that she would be remembered for, and that the proceeds would be given to the Maggie's Centre in Kirkcaldy.
After friends and fans raised funds to record the album, Jackie has announced that it will be titled "Behind Her Eyes" will be released September 1st. The first song from the CD, "One Night at A Time" has already been released to radio.
Jackie will host a Meet & Greet at Maggies Centre, Kirkcaldy on August 23rd, and an official album launch concert at Dunfermline's Carnegie Hall on September 20th.

Martha's on song
Glasgow based singer songwriter, Martha L Healy releases her new EP, "To Be Free" with a gig at The Rum Shack in Shawlands, Glasgow on Thursday. Martha's previous album, "Better Days" was recorded in Nashville, and the young singer is set to return to Music City in the near future.
Josh Kelley heads for Europe
Georgia born singer Josh Kelley tours next month, with a date at Glasgow's Oran Mor on Monday, September 12th.
Although he first recorded in 2001, it wasn't until he signed wityh MCA, and had a hit with "Georgia Clay", that people really took notice. His latest album, "New Lane Road" is released on Sugar Hill Records.
Josh will be supported by Raintown for the Glasgow gig.

Prairie Star back
After last month's Prairie Star meeting was cancelled due to scructural damage, the club returns this Saturday (August 6th) in Weirs Club, alloa, with Dundee based Tin Star providing the entertainment.
Fringe Country for Canadian Joey Clarkson
A young Canadian singer is coming to the Edinburgh Fringe, where she'll play 12 concerts in 8 days.
Joey Clarkson, whose single, " Go Right Now" is at UK radio now, has just completed a 6 week European tour, and will return later in the month for the festival.
